Garlic Crusted Rolled Rib Roast

Ingredients

  • Woodbridge Boneless Prime Rib Roast

  • 5-7 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 Tbs Oil

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp melted butter

Directions

  1. Make sure Roast is at room temp before cooking. Preheat oven to 500°F

  2. Combine all ingredients into small bowl until well blended, set aside

  3. Place the room temp roast in a roasting pan with fatty side up

  4. Spread mixture evenly over the roast

  5. Cooking time will vary by the EXACT size of your roast you have. To calculate cooking time multiply the exact weight of the roast by FIVE, Round the resulting number to the nearest whole number. The rib roast is cooked at 500°F for exactly that many minutes.

    For example, for a 4 pound rib roast: 4x5=20, so cook time is 20 minutes.

  6. Turn oven off and wait 2 hours before opening the oven door (seriously, no peeking, or opening the door for any reason, you can do this!) DON’T OPEN THE OVEN DOOR FOR THE NEXT TWO HOURS
