Scrapple

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Woodbridge ground beef

  • 2 cups Woodbridge ground pork

  • 3 cups Meat broth

  • 1 cup Corn-Meal

  • 2 teaspoons Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoons. Pepper

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Sage

Directions

  1. Combine meats and broth in pot.

  2. Heat to boiling.

  3. Add seasoning, except cayenne.

  4. Sift in corn-meal slowly, stirring constantly.

  5. Cook 30 minutes.

  6. Add few grains of cayenne.

  7. Pour into a mold. I used a glass bread loaf.

  8. Chill until firm.

  9. Cut into thin slices.

  10. Fry until well browned. We liked it crispy.
